Covid 19
The first
case of covid 19 was reported in China, Wuhan. This virus causes millions of
deaths across the world. It was declared a pandemic by the world health
organization.
In this
crises
As people
cannot directly approach the Psychologist because of Covid 19 SOPS (social
distancing ETC.), So to deals with all these problems you need to be self-lover
and will do something better to feel special.
Cause of Mental Health Crises
Covid 19
vaccines have been prepared but still social distancing and wearing mask is the
only solution to be safe and protected from this virus. Covid 19 limits the
people to their homes. Work from home prevail. Those who are victims of this
virus quarantine themselves at home.
Because of this suffering individual feel loneliness, they have death anxiety, depression,
uncertainty about the future.
Not also
suffering people, normal members of the society have the same mental health
issues. People do not know what will be the future of the world. Unemployment
increases, students also have mental health problems related to exams, they do
not know what will be their future. Such a situation causes anxiety, tension
among all members of society.
Preventive Measures
Now the question
arises of how to deal with all such problems.
Healthy Diet
Normally in
such situations individuals do not want to eat, or eat overly but not a healthy
diet. A healthy diet for a sound mind and body is essential.
Exercise
Exercise is
the best method to be fit and healthy. Through exercise, the mind will get oxygen
and focus on the solution of the problem, not the problem itself.
Mindfulness Practices
Practice mindfulness activities. Yoga and deep breathing are
best practices to live in present. Practice mindfulness daily for 10-15
minutes.
Painting
Busy yourself in healthy and mind refreshing activities like
painting, drawing, etc.
Books Reading
Reading books is another way to engage your mind. Start
reading all those books which you could not read because of your busy schedule.
Now grab this opportunity and start reading.
Avoid Excessive Use of Social Media
Avoid
excessive use of social media or all those channels which are a source of tension
and negative news. Though its good to remain updated but not as much that
become a source of the problem, not a benefit.
Social Support
In this tough situation social support, peer support is the
factor of boosting for every individual. Because of social distancing, you
cannot approach your relatives and friends. But by using social media you can
connect with your family members and friends.
